Heritage Campaign List

The Trust has launched is 2023 Manifesto Feeder Document which it is hoped will set the scene for heritage policy  ahead of a general election as is expected to be called before the end of 2023. This document develops further the points in our 2019 campaign list but makes a more general case for heritage to be regarded as a Core National Asset and one to be factored in to a key polucy level. The document can be accessed here

We are pleased to publish our updated Gibraltar Heritage Trust’s Campaign List for 2019 wich builds on our 2015 document. The list aims to collate and focus on the main heritage issues that concern the Trust and the areas we would like to see progressed or integrated into Government policy and/ or Gibraltar Law.

The document is mainly centered around four main issues, development, legislation, management and resourcing. Many of the points are items that are at varying levels of progression in our contact and meetings either directly with Government and departments and agencies through the varying consultation processes that exist. We hope that this document will serve as a reference point and a proactive tool to help shape those discussions as matters and issues progress.

This document has also been delivered to Government and a copies to the opposition parties.
