Explore the newly refurbished and upgraded WWII Tunnels with local restorer and ex-artillery man, Pete Jackson. Plans to refurbish the tunnels were put forward by local media company and operator, Wright Tech Media, to improve the visitor experience, highlight stories of the evacuation, and military personnel of recognition during the war, as well as introduce the story of the Gibraltar spitfires. You will be some of the first visitors to experience the new WWII Tunnels!

Time: 9:30am (approx 2 hours). You will be able to explore more of the tunnels at your leisure at the end.
Meeting Point: Hay’s Level (entrance to tunnels). Please wear comfortable shoes and you may bring a torch if you desire. Hardhats will be provided at the start of the tour.

IMPORTANT: Level of difficulty - Medium. Must be able to negotiate steep and long inclines, narrow/confined spaces, and some uneven and unstable walking surfaces. Please assess if you are able to undertake this visit.
