Join our guide and author of 'A Rocky Labyrinth' and 'Beyond the Ramparts', Manolo Galliano, for a walk through the southern end of our Old Town. Enter the Southern part of Gibraltar’s Rocky Labyrinth and discover places that you may not know existed. Based on his popular book titled A Rocky Labyrinth: The History of our Streets, Lanes, Roads and Ramps in the City of Gibraltar (Photography and illustrations by Victor Hermida),

Meeting Point: Southport Gates (outside the Income Tax Office).

Route: Southport Gates, St. Jago's Steps, Hargrave's Passage, Town Range, Hargrave's Parade, Charles V Ramp, Booth's Passage, Morello's Ramp, Flat Bastion Road, Baca's Passage, Devil's Gap Path, La Escalera del Monte (Union Jack Steps), Castle Road, Benoliel's Passage, Prince Edward's Road and Governor's Parade. 

IMPORTANT: Level of difficulty: Hard. You must be able to negotiate steep inclines and over 400 steps for the majority of the tour. Please assess if you are able to participate in this tour and do not require assistance. This is for the guide's safety and pace of the tour.
