New Heritage Act Command Paper published

The Gibraltar Heritage Trust welcomes the publication of the Command Paper for the New Heritage Act, which we have been campaigning for for over a decade. The Trust has been involved in the consultation process whilst the wording of the new Act was being compiled. The Board of Trustees will be reviewing the final version and passing on their comments to GOG during the two week feedback period as well as submitting a dossier on updates to the listed buildings schedule.

We would like to invite any members of the public with any comments or suggestions on the Act to write into the Trust before the close of the consultation period on the 27th July and contribute to our feedback paper.

The new Heritage Act is a critical document in the work towards sustainable heritage management and preservation in Gibraltar.
