Guided Tours of Main Street with 'The Llanito History Doctor'

Over the past two years, Dr. Ryan Asquez, local scholar and medieval historian, has created and developed his online person as 'The Llanito History Doctor' where he shares snippets of Gibraltar’s history and heritage in short video clips on Instagram and Facebook and consequently he has engaged a new audience to learn about our unique history.

We are excited to announce this second collaboration, the first being a social media takeover in March, for guided tours through Main Street, 'El Calle Real', starting in Casemates and ending at Southport Gates. These tours are separate to our annual walking tours of Main Street in our programme of events and is open to all members of the public.

These tours are ticketed events for both members (at a subsidised fee) and non-members. You can purchase a ticket on our website or in our shop. Terms & Conditions

Gibraltar Heritage Trust (GHT) Cancellation Policy:

• The GHT reserves the right to cancel a guided tour due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, safety concerns, or other emergencies.
• In the event of cancellation by the GHT, all registered participants will be notified via email or phone as soon as possible.
• The GHT will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the tour to a mutually agreeable date and time. If rescheduling is not feasible, participants will be offered a full refund of any ticket fees paid.

Participant Cancellation Policy:

• Participants who wish to cancel their registration for a guided tour must notify the GHT at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled tour date.
• Refunds for participant cancellations will be issued according to the following schedule:
  1. Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the tour date: Full refund.
  2. Cancellations made between 6 day and 2 days prior to the tour date: 50% refund.
  3. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the tour date: No refund.

Participants who fail to attend the tour without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund.
